I found out about the program through another AUA friend. The program was very helpful. This program definitely filled in gaps of my knowledge. This program helped me really organize my way of studying. The flexibility of the course schedule is great as well. I liked the way Dr. Suleiman presented the material. I loved when he would do the flow charts and break down the topics into a simple format that really helps retain it in memory.

I tried Kaplan-Mandatory after basic sciences. I think Dr. Suleiman’s course was much more effective in terms of integration and high-yield knowledge. Systems based review course is much better for me personally than subject based. I feel like my foundation is completely solidified now and my performance level on and practice exams have definitely improved…

Thank you to Dr. Suleiman and Ulysses for making this step course happen. I feel more at ease and prepared to take the step after these 6 weeks of preparation.

I heard about Omega Scholars from word of mouth of student who had already took the course. I ended up taking the course and found it to be very Fast-Paced, Comprehensive, & High-Yield! What I liked most was Dr. Suleman’s system-based approach: He covers the essential material from embryology to anatomy to physio/pathophys to the relevant micro/pharm. I appreciated his advice on how to study/ what materials to use/ linking to step 2 (management). I liked his approach with drawing out /writing on the board.
I previously did take the Kaplan- 10 weeks course, but didn’t compare to taking Omega Scholars’ course. It was like night and day in the amount of high yield information Omega Scholars covered, overshadowing what we did in Kaplan. I wish I sat in his course twice instead of doing Kaplan. He really does a good job interrogating the different concepts and emphasizing what was previously tested on step 1/ comp exam.
Going into the exam I feel highly prepared. I have more confidence in understanding the material (many things were taught / reviewed more effectively/ efficiently than I had previously learned.) And I would definitely recommend the course to everyone, 100%!

Favorite part was the interaction with Dr. Suleiman. I felt like he knew each of us very well. If I plan to take a Review course for Step 2 I would definitely choose Dr. Suleiman’s.

I liked the small group setting. I also liked how seamlessly Dr. Suleiman can transition into basic science concepts while teaching for the clinical knowledge exam. I felt like the daily reminders and refreshers of important basic science concepts helped to make my studies feel more well-rounded and comprehensive.
I’ve taken Doctor’s in Training (DIT) online. The classroom setting with Dr. Suleiman was more effective for me than what I have found online review courses to be.
I feel like I am now better prepared. Don’t get me wrong, the quantity of material is vast. That was expected. However, I know I am now moving in the right direction as far as approaching scenarios, applying and integrating fundamental concepts in a dynamic way
Furthermore, I think you guys have an excellent program. Dr. Suleiman is a marvelous teacher. It is apparent that he is passionate about his profession. His commanding understanding of medical concepts is inspiring. His skillful teaching technique is as refreshing as it is reinforcing.

Fantastic! It really tackled medicine from a “big picture” aspect and I understand what that means now.

I like most the intimate class size, being able to see and make connections, and the interactive aspect of the course.

I’ve taken other review programs “Kaplan”. It’s Incomparable!! I feel conceptually my foundation has been strengthened tremendously. I was previously studying from the inside out, instead of the outside in.
